Alrighty kids, I have chosen this year's annual "Matt's Contest Thing!" Theme.

Are you ready? OF COURSE you ARE!

This year's theme is FRANK MILLER.

What this means is you have to draw something pertaining to Frank miller.

For example:

-Sin City.
-Ronin.
-300.
-Dark Knight Returns (and I mean the old Batman).
-Batman: Year One (this means a rookie Batman).
-Wolverine (I'm looking for classic suit *Brown and Yellow* people).

Or anything else you can find that he's done. Heck, you can even draw Frank Miller himself.
Keep in mind these are only a few examples of the menagerie that is Frank Miller's work.

Things I will be looking for:

-Your best work.
-No Plagarism (DUH!).
-How relevant the subject is to Frank Miller's work. (i.e.: If its a character he's created, or written for. Not something he's done one pin-up for).
-The art must be in your own style. I want to see your interpretation of his characters (In short, originality).
-You can submit just a sketch, but you might have a better chance with a finished piece.

Prizes:

First Place (grand prize): A 1-year membership to Deviantart, and a hand drawn sketch of one character of your choosing.

Second Place: A 3-month membership to Deviantart, and a hand drawn sketch of my choosing.

Third Place: A 1-month subscription to Deviantart, and a photocopy of my face.


Now for the rules:

-Deadline for the contest is March 15th, 2007.
-All entries must be recieved before midnight on the deadline.
-Everyone and anyone that is a member of Deviantart.com is eligable.
-All entries must be sent to me through a note via Deviant Art I will accept them no other way.
-All entries must be a brand new piece of work.
-Judging will be held one week after deadline has expired.
-Any one depicting anything pertaining to beastiality, pornography, pedophelia, ect... will be disqualified. Violence is okay, as long as it does not conflict with the aformentioned statement.
-Prizes will be given within one week of judging.
-Anyone caught stealing someone else's work will be disqualified indefinitely.
-Rules are subject to change at any time.
